The election of 2024 was supposed to have a different ending. One where the best educated most qualified ex district attorney won, and the elderly multi-convicted draft dodging diaper wearing felon got his just desserts or was at least forced to pay his bills. One where the majority of people living in the country choose hope & love over fear & hate. One where the same guy who perpetuated an ugly lie about the last black president didn't this time just focus and center his whole campaign around hate based Hitler laced fear mongering, going so far as to say on a national stage the darkies were eating dogs~ And still get to be president.
One where a Russian dictator using a hate-filled Zionist jew didn't just set up shop in our own back yard like some goddamned hen house and call it fox just to taunt those too stupid to even get the joke.
That ending actually happened on another earth, in a parallel universe. In that timeline, the US is not run under a thinly veiled apartheid-based system of minority rule, where the same ole tired dirty trix lovin fear mongering white 'Christian nationalist' have ultimate say and total control. So even when the miserable cowards on the right don't get the majority of votes, they still win.
But on this earth, where it is, this election was still different from the ones previously. For the first time in a very long time a republican won the popular vote too, sorta. So, although the fix was in, there was no need. Turns out the electoral college is not just a safeguard but a way to make the true majority in this country work harder, give them hope and still take it from them in the end, if only by purging their votes. Cruelty after all is the point.
I mean, who are we kidding? What kind of racist petty bigots come up with laws forbidding poor people from bringing other poor people water waiting in the sun? The better question of course, is what kind of cowardly 'civilized society' allows or even tolerates such ugly obviously discriminatory policies?
The two party system in this country has always been just a tich more than BullShit. The easiest way to control a large group of people, you see, is to simply break them N2 smaller groups, then turn those two groups of feeble minded sheep on each other. The left may disingenuously pretend to be outraged with all the right's racist bullshit. But except to clutch their imagined pearls of feigned indignation, they do absolutely nothing to stop them. And when they're in office, they do even less to change the laws they've enacted.
And every four years we talk about getting rid of the electoral college, then don't. Own and control the content and flow of information, own and control the society dependent on that information. The all white male owned glutinously rich already media just stops talking about it. While continuing to gaslight us by relentlessly bombarding our brains with more mindlessly divisive culture war distractions. Just more BullShit to appease or enrage the stupid and the gullible. The same old tired ugly racist bullshit, now led by a draft dodging convicted felon who abuses women.
What's funny, though everyone seems suddenly to have their hair on fire about how it all went wrong, in the end, this election loss came down mostly to the one thing we don't even seem to want to talk about: 20,000 Haitian migrants.
The person handling PR for Biden's administration should be shot. They were no match for the insidious agenda setting game played by the media this election cycle. It used to be about media telling you, not how to think, only what to think about. But murdoch2.0 is not interested in informing anymore or even making subtle suggestions. No, now Rupert and his media butt buddies actively gas light, bully, manipulate and demand: BIDEN MUST GO. And Americans agreed, even though we have the strongest economy in the world.
And you don't bring 20,000 very dark skinned people en masse into the country without notice. Media ignored it intentionally. Then gave life to a completely unsubstantiated rumor, even after it had been debunked. They have been entirely complicit every step of the way.
That said, in a news driven society, how do you bring 20,000 people who weren't born here into the country and not tell the people living in it, yourself? Especially given the sensitivity of the issue. Where was the press conference? Kamala did a lot of talking. Until exposed however, never once did she mention bringing in 20,000 people, from anywhere.

But this election lost was about far more than issues of immigration or putting Americans first. The corrupt corporations in cahoots with the greedy billionaires have bought outright lock stock & barrel all media. And they are actively manipulating the citizenry for their own purposes and intent.
Indifferently corrupt gluttonously rich already greedy lady loathing bullies who now own all media racing one another to be the first trillionaire. Regular Americans are just unwitting fodder in this complete folly where the worker bees are oblivious, they're little less than drones. Economic slaves sold prepackaged dreams comprised mostly of them compulsively buying things they don't need while deluding themselves they've any real alternative.
Even those fully aware of the choices they make though seemed to be ok with choosing Trump. Because despite the big talk and the genuinely cute commercials, 54% of white women still voted for him. Way too many women in general, given they will arguably suffer most and have the most to lose, went into those booths and did what they've always done; exactly what you're told. Oh, you'll still wear the pink pussy hat later lying every moment you pretend to commiserate. You've never had a problem, letting everyone else take the blame.
White women aren't the only ones lying however, are they? Trump doubled his support among black men from last cycle while amassing the largest percentage of nonwhite voters for a Republican presidential hopeful since Richard Nixon. Like Nixon too ironically, Trump regained the White House with the smallest electoral margin since 1968.
Unsurprisingly, almost 60% of all white men in this country voted for him. What is startling however is 46% of Hispanics in general and more than 55% of Latino men specifically, voted for him. This despite his many insults of 'vermin' as well as promises to only increase and expand their continued loss of bodily autonomy and mass deportation.
From the 'uncommitted' to the 'undecided', this has all been just an act, a tired old charade played out in blackface tragically by even more people of all ages shades ethnicities and genders.
Making the little colored girl jump through hoops with no real intent of ever letting her be anything, but the butt of your jokes. The benighted uneducated bobbleheads at faux 'news' along with every republican openly calling her a DEI hire and insinuating she slept her way to the top. And Americans bought it in much the same way the rich & corrupt bought all media.
We've never enjoyed anything close to real democracy in this country. But this was nothing short of mass manipulation, pandering to the ugliest most base fears of ignorant uneducated hateful racist white people and the even more nescient disgracefully unenlightened brown and black people.
Evangelicals lying to themselves most of all as they sell their souls to the devil himself without compunction or even the slightest of hesitations.
While it seemed all outlets, mainstream and fringe media alike savaged her unfairly in ways large and small in the press every step of the way. Kamala has probably never even met diddy. We've learned with this last election, when the alt-right and all white mainstream media say words like equal fair or balanced when speaking on justice for all in this country they mean precisely that: JUST US.
The way Kamala Harris was treated remains nothing short of disgusting. That we've just merrily moved the fuck on like it was anything less, says everything about this country.
Never really called on their racist shit and certainly never held accountable, the hateful whites on the right seem capable only of direct descend so won't allow anything but gutter feeding. They can't rise above so remain in relentless pursuit of rock bottom. Every time we think the ignorant fear mongering feeble minded self-destructive cowards on the right can't get any lower, they do just that. These white people don't actually stand for or believe in anything anymore it seems. Just fighting, against everything not them. Their entire existence motivated by fear and hate, of change.

Mostly however, it seems for some in this country, regardless of race, despair fear and hate is all they have, all they are. These people don't hope for happy any more. Their hateful cruelty at least allows them mild albeit temporary relief from their deluded suffering. You can only transmit what you are inside.
The rest of the country is too weak complicit or just stupid to stop them it seems, or for that matter do anything about it at all, but pretend of course what they're doing is not actively happening. That it did not just actually happen in real time.
